The stages of treatment in novin clinic:
I.Primary consultation:
The consulant physician (who has passed every courses in Addiction treatment)visit all the patients and after considering all the patient’s statuse(for example kind and quantity of drug and pantient’ physical exam and patient’s psychiatry statuse) offers the kind of detoxification.
II. Detoxification
The first stage of drug treatment is detoxification or curing the signs of with drawal syndrome then the physician begins anti opioide drugs for patients(such as Naltrexone)
III. Methadone or Bupronorphin Maintenance therapy: some of the patients who has a contraindica tian for opioide Detoxification be offerred to cure this kind of treatment (BMT or M MT: A maintenance treatment with opioide Agonist drugs such as methadone or opioide Agonist and antagonist drugs such as bupronorphine ) under a psycho therapist’s observe.
IIII. Rehabilitation and Relapse Prevention:
This stage contains of psycho-analysis in group (group therapy) or individual ,psycho- analysis for whole family and … for minimum 6 months.
Oral use of naltrexone must be continued for 1 year and Blood test for increase of linver enzymes must be done every 3 monthes.
The morphine test must be done every month.
This stage is the most important stage of treatment.
